Guess where I am now? Hehe. I'm here in my loving Pacita home. Ah yes, I've missed spending time here. Waking up late on a Saturday, watching TV all day long, just bumming around, ransacking the fridge and just recently, yay DSL! Haha. AlsoI i wanted to see my folks and my silly brothers again. I'm on the verge of dragging back all my stuff and live here again because of homesickness.
Since I moved to this apartment in Pasig (about 10 minutes away from my office) last March, it's only so often that I stay here in our Laguna mansion for a whole day because of the many responsibilities that I had to attend to. Mostly church connected. There's our office ministry, Dgroup, prayer meetings, bible studies, etc. I also had to cope with my erratic schedule at work. So I could not just come back here and sleep over then go to the office the next day @ 7AM. Nononono. I'm dead if I do that. With a body clock like mine, it would only be weeks before I start collecting tardiness memos again. Haha.
Though living independently has its own perks (oh yeah! no ref, no gasul, and an apartment that looks like it has been robbed, haha), it's still different when you live at "home". Sometimes I wonder, if only I have a car, I'd need not to rent an apartment anymore. But then again I don't. And I doubt that I would be willing to drive that 2-hour traffic from Susana Heights to Edsa-Shaw just to get to work. With the gas price shooting up like fireworks and the stress of it all. Nah, I'm happy Lord. And haha, I don't drive, haler. So it's totally out of the options.
Heck, I miss home. That's the point of it all. Home is... where your heart is. Hahaha! I guess I'd be spending more time here for the next week. I need company. This loneliness will kill me (nikosdgreat is in Cavite for the ISCF camp for a week, devouring on little children, hehe). Or maybe I'm just making an alibi to stay home because we have DSL now and a, ta-da.. landline phone. The last time we had landline was when I was still in highschool (so imagine the excitement). *sigh* I remembered those nonsense, long-hour phone calls with your girlfriends and crushes, hihi. Now, I can't even recall any of their numbers anymore. And the one person whom I wanted to spend those long-hour phone calls again is away. Boohoo.
Anyway, I just wanted to post something actually. A longer entry this time. I was ranting to Xai last night that I want to blog. But alas, I have forgotten how to blog. So I'm trying my hand on it again. So here.
I'm so excited about a lot of things. Things that I'm not certain of and some things I know God will be blessing me with. Like... Hillsong United for one. They're coming here in Manila! Lord, you're too good! Joel Houston, Marty Sampson, Mia Fields and all of them! Waaaaaah, can't wait can't wait!!!! Also there's new friends that I'm not sure where will come from or where I will meet, but I just know they'll be very good friends. Our church's young people (SBC and all our other daughter churches). Rekindled friendships. A challenging but lovely journey with Jesus. And manymanymanymany more. Agh, just thinking about all these makes me tingle from head to toe. It's like, there's nothing that could overcome this joy in me.
I love my Lord! Yikee! He excites me most of all. He makes me fall in love with Him more and more than anyone else can (no offense meant Nix ). Everyday, He helps me realize the plans He have for me. Each day He reveals Himself to me in many different attributes yet He's still the same. I can't wait to see Him personally. Desiderio Domini, I long to see my Lord. Oh He's just so beautiful! He's exquisite, breath-taking, amazing, incomparable, undescribable, I am even mumbling now because I don't know what else to say about Him. He's my life, He's my hope, He's the joy inside of me, He's my inspiration, my motivation. He's my all. I want to be the person He molded me to be, so when He sees me again, He'll say... "Ah my child, you are perfect."
I want you to know Him the same way I did and have this inexpressible joy in your life. I assure you, once you meet Him and have known Him more in the deepest sense of it, You will never be the same again. I know I wasn't.
Nice blog! =)
ReplyDeletewow, if you wanna be back at home a part of me is screaming independence. Its a case to case basis i guess. However i dont have the luxury of doing that. I gotta lot of responsibility now that there have been significant changes here at home. And no, i dont have a kid yet =) So its not about that.
ReplyDeleteI dunno, i just feel that id be more super responsible if im living by myself. hehe learning things like cooking, and washing my own clothes. now, not that i dont know how to do those, tamad lang ako, at pag uwi, tulog or if not PC.
